I have felt good today. I returned from Daytona Beach around midnight, collected my bag and drove home. I had been miserable on the plane -- my legs were killing me and I was so uncomfortable. The flight attendant gave me quinine water. He said that the Europeans always drink it on long trips. I don't know if it helped, but I'm going to try to fly first class in the future. Five hours in one of those hard tiny seats with barely enough room to stretch out and definitely not enough room to change position -- it didn't work for me. I should probably talk to a doctor about this. I hoping it's nothing. I definitely hope it's not the diabetes.
But I felt great today. My legs and lower back still ache some, but I'm not dizzy. I am still taking the vitamin B12 5,000 mcg tabs under my tongue, and I believe I feel results shortly after I take them. I am also using pure fish oil capsules. Both the fish oil and the vitamin B12 are from Pharmaca, which is a dedicated vitamin store just down the street from me, very chic!. I am out of the chewable vitamin C but will get some more when it fits into my budget (the money is a little short after three trips and a move between the end of March and the end of May).
Having some trouble controlling my blood sugar. I eat and take insulin and then my blood sugar goes up, then I take insulin to cover, then my blood sugar gets too low, and I have to eat, and it starts over... I am using the values my pump gives me, and even though I adjusted the insulin bolus down a bit recently, I am still having reactions. I don't like having reactions -- they scare me -- so I try to run my numbers a little higher. It isn't working. I really do need to see the doctor, which means I need to get that new insurance company to send me my card... On and on...
