May, 2010. A new home in Redmond, Washington. I decide to transform my life and rejuvenate my health, to rebuild my physical and emotional strength, to find balance in mind, body and spirit, to create order in my environment -- in short, to begin anew in a new place. This is my journey.

Local Hair
Got my hair washed and blown dry at a local shop called Just a Trim. Nice woman. Her shop is filled with pictures of squirrels -- she does squirrel rescue. Was very interested in hearing about my rats. The shop is actually a little house. It's four minutes by car from where I live. I'm not great at blow-drying my own hair so this was a quick, inexpensive way to get a beauty fix.
Doing well!
I am feeling good. Second day of the patch. Thinking about going to a local hair place and getting my hair washed and blown dry cheap. The roots are starting to grow in and I plan to go back to Seattle to the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute to have that done next week before leaving for Florida. I can't believe it's only been three weeks since I had my hair dyed and the roots are showing again. So annoying.
